Taste & Write: Salt of the Earth
November 10
What happens to our writing and embodied experience when we slow down and connect to our senses? Kelly Laughlin from Odette Press will show us the way.
This is a journaling workshop that begins with a low-key tasting experience as a way of focusing, opening up and getting connected. We'll follow with creative prompts, conversation, mindfulness meditation and journaling to ground down into the present moment. This workshop is a fun entry point to journaling for beginners and it's also a tasty way to awaken some new angles for those with an already seasoned journaling practice.
Salt of the Earth Edition
We've always wondered what are the differences between salts. Are some really saltier than others? It's time to find out. We'll conduct a totally unscientific tasting of salts and see what's what.
Date: Sunday, November 10
Time: 6:00-7:30 PM
Location: Cardinal Gift Shop
