Tiny Quilts
Make a tiny quilt with textile artist Allison Page. Tiny quilts are the future!
With fabric scraps you may already have in your home and some basics stitches you can make a fun, freeing, improvisational tiny quilt. Use it as a mug rug, a potholder for the holidays, a patch, a fabric postcard, an ornament, or hang on the wall to admire. You will learn many of the basic skills you need to go out and make a larger quilt: thread and needle tips, running stitch, back stitch, patchwork, piecing, appliqué, quilting (stitching three layers of fabric together), binding, and more!
This is a great way to warm up your hands with sewing before launching into a larger project. It is also a perfect little portable project for on-the-go making.
